The NodeRoster app
NodeRoster runs on your computer and stores everything it finds (scan results, saved devices, Watch Logs and settings) in a database on that computer. We don’t operate any server the app reports to, and the app does not send us your data, usage statistics or crash reports.
The app talks only to devices on the networks you choose to scan, using standard network requests (ping, address lookups, service port checks) and, if you use Get Device Details or switch port lookup, read-only queries to those devices. Switch credentials you enter are stored only on that computer.
If you use Send Feedback, the app opens your own email program with a message addressed to us; nothing is sent unless you send it. Diagnostics you choose to include describe the app and computer (version, operating system) and do not include your device database.
This website
When you request beta access we collect what you enter in the form (such as your name, email address, company and role) to send you the beta, updates about NodeRoster and, occasionally, questions about your experience. We don’t sell or share it. Ask us at any time to remove it.
Our web host keeps standard server logs, and the site may use cookies needed for it to work. If we add analytics, we’ll list them here.
